Has this happened to you?

Have you been told that you were having a boy or girl and when the baby was born the doctor was wrong about the sex of the baby?

  • my dd they were correct on..

    with this pregnancy the baby was stubborn and wouldn't hold still very long.. the technician said she didn't see anything (penis), so it looks like a girl.. but she admitted right out that she could have missed it.

  • I knew someone in college who had that happen, and my cousin's early ultrasound was wrong. It hasn't happened to me though.

  • That has happened to a friend of my daughter.
    But when I was having babies, we had no ultrasounds, no way to know. Every baby was a surprise!

  • No a week before our last childs delivery we were told that HE was a Girl that the first ultra was wrong - we gave all the boy baby clothes to my sister and Jake was in a pink room with his sister wearing the cutest pink clothes for the first month of his life!

  • I've not had that happen, but I've know women it has happened to. I also know someone who had twins and they never saw the 2nd child in the ultrasound.
