  • My son's is filled with 7 oz of water and 1 oz of juice or tea. When it's empty, he brings it to me and asks for more. He probably goes through 4-6 full ones/day. My feeling is as long as he doesn't sit there and drink cup after cup it's fine for him to have it all day, plus, it's mostly water.

  • It depends on what you're putting in it. If it's sugary drinks then that's way too much. I try to give my daughter water or juices. She pretty much keeps a full one all day, which usually equates to about 6.

  • You can give too much milk - she won't want to eat food. She should have 16 to 20 ounces of milk a day. No more than 4 ounces of juice. As much water as she wants.
