would you feel comfy with your 1 year old daughter having a seperate bedroom in the house

it's just you 2? My daughter sleeps in her crib in her own room and I was wondering if this is odd.

  • My kids sleep in our room (in a crib, usually) until they are at least 6 months. Our goal is to put them in their own rooms by one year. I think it is good. Not a problem for any reason. Why do you worry?

  • Well, my friend had her Dh deploy for 6 months, and it was just them two, and her Dd still slept in her own room during that time. If it works for you, I see nothing wrong with it.

  • I think this is a family decision. I don't really see how having one parent or two would make any difference. Our son was in his own room at 5 months and that was what worked for us. You do what works for you and your child. Being a single parent doesn't change that.

...Also I don't think it's an unusual choice to give a child her own room anyway.
