What is the earliest you fed your child/children dinner?

I feel bad that I am going to be feeding my kids early today for dinner, but my 5 year old has kindergarden open house tonight to show us around before she starts on wednesday and to meet her teacher and everything. My mom is picking up our 2 year od at 4:30 since I know she wont sit through that it is from 5-7. So which means I have to feed the girls about 3:30 or 4 so that my youngest eats before she leaves and then my 5 ear old eats before the school. What is the earliest you have fed your kids?

  • Don't feel bad about it! Expect them to want a snack when they get home :) I've had to do the same thing, feed them dinner about 4 in order to get to a school function.

  • Around 4:30 and she will have a light snack a little while before bed if she is hungry. I will not send my child to bed hungry.

  • i think the earliest was probably bout 4. the latest was like maybe 8, and I never made that mistake again. Now any time we go out I feed him either a full meal or a good snack

  • We eat at 4pm 2 nights a week because I have to work and they get a snack about 6 if they are hungry. But they don't mind. :)
