  • its best to wait till 6 months and only feed it from a spoon.. It is not a good idea to but cereal in a bottle, huge choking hazard....among many other things. when your baby shows intrest in what you are eating, they can sit up by themself, try it at 5-6mo though some babies just push the food back out because they only have the sucking reflex still. No rush give it time.

  • docters say six months wic says 4 months thats when they give you the cereal but the doc says dont give it till 6 mths cuz it can cause food allergys if you feed your baby to early. and your not suppose to put the ceral in the bottle its a chocking hazzard. i started my kids when they got their teeth first with the cereal then fruits in 1st foods then veggies and you should give them one food at a time this way if there is an allergic reaction you will know from what.and if your baby is not ready you will know wait till an 8 ounce bottle is not enough then start cereal
