What do i do about mushy almost diarrhea like poop for a wk?

My daughter is 7 months old. Recently she had a HUGE stuck poopie and i had to help her get it out. After that i gave her prune juice/water mixture to help her get everything out. Well every since then she poops like 3-5 times a day and its like diarrhea! Its going on a wk and im getting worried. I keep her hydrated and everything but i dont know if i should take her in. Does anyone know what to do?

  • Bananas and oatmeal. Oatmeal is really good for regularity because it bulks up stools without causing diarrhea. Bananas help to stop diarrhea and replace potassium - mashed potatoes help stop diarrhea too. Yogurt is also a good idea.

  • Rice baby cereal, there is even a rice formula, it's expensive, but it would help get her regulated again

  • Hi mama, maybe I missed it, but is she also breastfeeding? Either way, go to this link - LOTS of good info - http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/constip.htm
