What would you do if this was your child getting a paper like this.

For me I would petition to get the teacher fired! No child should have to endure a teacher tearing him or her down like this. What a horrible way to go through your 6th grade year!

  • I actually went through this with my fifth grade teacher. He would single me out, verbally abuse me, and make me cry in front of the class.

It was actually the kids that put a stop to it... I found out years later. One day, it abruptly ended. I found out, that in a poor school in a crappy district, the entire class had told him that if he didn't knock it off, they'd report him.

This type of thing is not new. What's new is that it's talked about and stopped. That's a good thing.

  • Its hard to fire a tenure.. we had one similar to this, he too was a 4th grade teacher and it was either having him or the other teacher a female who was no better. He would single out kids and have favorites. My oldest was singled out a lot. My youngest didnt get him because he decided to retire which was a huge sigh of relief!

  • Ha, that teacher would be eating his school lunches through a straw! Why are ADULTS picking on children? Are their lives so pathetic they have to bully CHILDREN?
