Finally mourning the loss of my flat belly!!!

LOL it has taken me years of flab and 4 kids to finally realize my belly fat is never going anywhere... Did anyone else find it extremely effortless to get your pre-preg bod back after your first baby then impossible to lose the fat and flab from your other children???

  • sweet pea- I wasn't putting you down in any way... I should add that it took 3 years for me to lose the 100 lbs I gained with my first pregnancy. And I lost no weight between the two pregnancies there after. In all, I had about 60 lbs post baby to lose after my 3rd.

May I make one smallish suggestion, which most people do not think of?
When trying to lose belly fat, people begin doing major abdominal exercises which actually push their belly out further beneath the fat- like crunches- so even though they are losing weight, it's not visible.
There are many, many variations of these exercises that tuck your abs back in, rather than making them poke out. If you're interested, PM me... I commend you for your effort.

  • I worked excessively hard... it'll never be perfectly flat again, but I refused to give up. I'm back in a 4-6 and have been for 2 years- post 3rd baby. If you make the decision to take back what is rightfully yours (your body) it can be done.

  • I used to be a competitive swimmer in college and swimming at a moderate pace for 45min 4 times a week is what finally got me back to somewhere around pre-pregnancy.
