Fussing in the night, but not crying

My 15 month old has begun fussing off and on in the night, but he falls asleep before I can get up and go to him. Why could this be happening now? He used to sleep through the night without a peep.

  • He is growing and his brain is developing, probably making more dreams. If he isnt fully waking up or crying to worry about it, feel blessed, as allot of moms have kids waking up several times a night and not going back to sleep on their own.

  • Dream stages become more vivid. It will pass.

I used to just lay in bed until I heard DD really cry. Otherwise, I was getting up just to go back to bed.

  • I agree, dreaming. Both my boys still fuss in their sleep at 4 and almost 2. It's instinct to check on them but try not to wake them.
