  • Bleeding in the first trimester is common but it is not considered a true period.

  • You can appear to have a period. The nurse at my OB's office said he didn't know she was preg until 5 months cause she didn't show and appeared to have her regular cycle the whole time!

  • I have three kids and have never had any sort of bleeding with any of my preganceys.

  • Actually you CAN have a period while pregnant. The difference between plain bleeding and a period, is with a period you ovulate. Your period just washes the unfertilized egg away. It is VERY rare to ovulate then have a period while pregnant, but it does happen
