  • Yes and no. We don't do anything for Labor day. It's changed visting my family in the summer and going to their house for Turkey Day. 12-14 hour trip, in a truck, with two children isn't cheap.

The economy has not had a negative affect on us. We are doing as well as ever and we are still trucking along as always..

  • I will say plane tickets have increased and we probably won't fly home this Christmas.... Right now, it is looking at costing $1300/person to fly home to my parents.... That's up from $900 previously...

  • Nope, we'll be at Carolina Beach for 4 days/3 nights over Labor Day weekend. We haven't been affected by the economy at all though.

  • We never go anywhere Labor Day Weekend. We take our little vacation the week before because there are less crowds. We went to Great Wolf Lodge last week for my birthday/end of summer and there were not many people at all. Plus, the rates were cheaper.
