  • I'm all with you for being happy, and thankful, but I am still leery. Don't get me wrong, I'm as flamingly liberal as they come, but I just want us out of there completely. Too many innocent people have died.

  • It's about damn time. We lost too many men and women there. IMO, we shouldn't have been there in the first place.

  • I know! I heard this on the radio today and almost cried my eyes out! I don't have anyone oversa's, but I do have friends who are in the military, friends who have family in and have lost friends due to the "war". I am just waiting now to see if it is true or not. :(

  • Yes, the last combat brigade is out. But troops are still there. Supposedly they will all be out by next year, or 2012. Supposedly. But right after that last brigade left, shit hit the fan, so to speak. Things can always change.
