Best Bag for Nursing School?

Now that I'm in nursing school I have a lot of books. But it's not just the amount of books, but the size of the dang things. I cannot fit all of the books I need for just one class in my current backpack so I'm looking for something else. I see a bunch of people with those roller bags, but am wondering if those are big enough. Any suggestions?

  • I used a Jansport roller bag and it worked great for me. I was able to get that huge larger than life med-surg book and the larger than life binder plus another book in there along with my one billion collection of pens lol. It held up great too. I still have that bag and I graduated 5 years ago. Good luck

  • I bought a roller bag and I bought it online, and made sure to get the biggest one I could find, watch the measurements on them. They are a necessity in nursing school- way too many books that are 20lbs each! lol. Seriously though, I used to think they were so silly, and that it was just lazy, that was before I started nursing school, I went out and got one the 3rd week. Good luck in school!

  • LL Bean has great back packs. The one I used for nursing school my Jr. High age daughter had used three years before that. It's still in great shape too :) Good luck in nursing school!

  • this is the one I have, but I only paid about $30 for it though. It expands and it holds a big fat notebook, and probably about 4 of the huge mega books.

  • A roller bag works really well, you might find one in thrift shops for a reasonable price. GL
