lapetite academy.... has anyone heard of it or anything? im considering putting my son their for child care in the next 4-5 months.

  • They are franchises and independantly owned. Check your state for thier website to grade childcare and to complain. Go for an interview and talk to the teachers. Check thier certificates and ask about employee training and requirements. Do what you think is best for you and your child.

  • My 2 yr old and 6 yr old attend La Petite Academy in Chesterton, Indiana. They both love it and the people there are really nice.

  • My sister attended when she was in preK, 21 years ago. She was molested by a teachers aide.

  • i heard its a really good daycare and they only hire educated and experienced staff

  • If LaPetite is all one organization then their rules differ here. One was totally shut down for non compliance. Two others have been repeeatedly cited for code violations. Everyone but the Director here is minimum wage. Check out the states inspections for the specific daycare you are looking at. Ask for references both past and current, ask what staff turnover rate is.
