what do you make for your kids for breakfast on school days? What about on the weekends?

usually it is cereal because that is what they want everytime I ask them they always want cereal. Well since my 5 year old is starting kindergarden tomorrow I don't think cereal is going to cut it I don't think it will fill her up enough until lunch. So I am going to start giving her things like walfuls or making her like eggs, pancakes french toast stuff like that.

  • My son usually gets eggs and toast before school. Sometimes I will make a huge batch of breakfast burritos and he will eat those. Sometimes pancakes and sausage.

  • I usually make pancakes on the weekends and make enough that they are left over for during the week and only need to be warmed up for a few seconds. We also have bagels and cream cheese, lean pockets, gogurt or anything that can be eaten on the go!!

  • I never cook a hot breakfast on school days. Always cereal. In winter I may do oatmeal. Most of the time they eat at school anyways. The only time I feed them a huge b-fast at home is when they do the standardized testing week and they send you a notice to make sure they are well fed.
Weekends we do eggs, pancakes, bagels etc.
