An easy Halloween costume for my 2 year old son

This weekend we are going to take our son to a festival with my parents. All of the kids will be dressing up on costumes. We live in Michigan and it will be about 65-70 degrees this weekend, so his normal Halloween costume will be way too hot. We do not want to buy one and want to be creative in stuff around the house. Any suggestions? Plus he's a normal 2 year old and will now wear anything that "bugs" him like anything tight, or itchy...if you have a 2 year old i'm sure you understand!
Thanks so much

  • take a white pillowcase, cut holes for his arms and head and then use fabric paints to paint your son's favorite candbar logo on one side! Instant candybar costume! :)

  • Make him a cape so he can either be a Vampire or Super Man! Easy & light!!

  • He could be a hobo, just make him look dirty and a couple layers of clothes. Or a ghost made out of a pillow case. Or a cowboy is an easy enough costume. Lots of luck, I hope you find something.

  • You could make him Underdog.

Here is a site that shows how easy and cute it is...

If you don't like Underdog, there are several more easy costumes on the page.

  • OK... I didn't realize the page said to buy the underdog tshirt. You can make it for MUCH cheaper.
