  • I've been making a cheese/chicken quesadilla in the morning and putting it in their lunch bag. Also...buy some english muffins and spread some marinara and mozzarella over it and put in the microwave for a few seconds. Soup is good too if you have a thermos to keep it warm. I don't know about anyone else, but my kids are more likely to eat something if it's "FUN' A turkey sandwich is better if it's in the shape of a star then if it's just a turkey sandwich.

  • its always good to make a chart your kids can pic from, put meats in the first column, veggys in the second, fruits in the third, and then snacks in the last one. then you ask the kids what they would like in each column, fill them in and each day before they go to bed have them pick one item from each column, then they get to choose what goes in their lunches and you get a much easier time of it ^_-

you could also try cutting the sandwiches differently and mixing them up every now and then,

  • I don't get creative with my daughter's lunches ... I make the same thing every Mon, Tue, Wed, Th, and Fr, just like a school lunch menu. She always knows whats coming!

  • Pasta salads, chicken breast strips and honey mustard dip, hummus w/ veggies and pita chips. Getting a hot lunch thermos opens you up to soups, left over spaghetti, chef boyardee, Mac &cheese or any other left over meal for that matter.

  • The sandwich stays the same, but the other items can vary.
