If your baby/toddler drooled, when did they stop?

My son didn't drool much as a baby, but as a toddler he drools A LOT! I have no idea why.. he's 2.

  • My son drooled a ton as a baby, he is almost a year and a half now, and he stopped recently, I think it was mostly because of teething. Is your son still getting his teeth?

  • Nope, he finished cutting his teeth (other than his 2 year molars which haven't started yet) 10 months ago. It was AFTER his finished cutting teeth it got worse. He's all backwards!

  • My son also drooled as a baby. It was like a faucet. He is 2 1/2 now and sometimes he still drools when he cries. Im not worried about it and you shouldnt be either

  • My DS is STILL drooling and he is 24 months. Hes cutting his last canine and also working on his 2 yr molars.

  • His two-year old molars may be starting even though you can't feel them. It would definitely explain the drooling. My son is the same way.

  • But they would have been starting for the past 10 months, lol. It's like constant his entire front of his shirt is soaked at least half way down.. I'm not concerned for his health, just thought it was weird since he never drooled as a baby!
