  • higher than normal hgc hormone counts usually show up right away, extreme sickness from these hormones, measuring larger than normal, and of course ultrasound, or finding two heartbeats with a doppler.

  • I'm not saying you are old or anything, but women who have had kids, are late 30's early 40's, or twins run in the fam are candidates also,

  • Exaggerated pregnancy symptoms are a sign that you MIGHT be carrying twins, but an ultrasound is the most accurate way to confirm you are carrying two babies. My morning sickness with my singleton was actually slightly worse than my morning sickness with my twins.
