Out of the mouths of babes

I can't believe I am sharing this- but it's more funny than embarassing. In the morning, I was in the bathroom. A bus outside made that "psst" sound that busses make when stopping/starting- Well, my daughter says, "Mom- did you just "toot" or was that the bus?" How flattering that my "toots" can be compared to a bus! :)~

  • Funny! The other day I was telling my 5 year old daughter how the Ninja Turtles weren't just for boys and how much I loved them as a kid. She said "but mom, you also liked to wear jeans! So you liking them doesn't count!". She's a total girlie girl, wears dresses and skirts every day. So I guess my tom boyish opinion doesn't count in terms of what shows were for girls or boys. :-) She's even asked once if I was sure I was a girl as a kid since I never liked dresses. :-)
