My 5 year old niece had her appendix taken out, and the skin around the staples from her surgery looks red. Is that normal?

  • is it oozey? or have an odor? does she have a fever? if yes to any call the dr. if no to all,keep a watch on it,but it should be fine.

  • No, there is no discharge, odor or fever. I just didn't know if the red was normal. Thank you!
