  • UpSheRises, why can't you bleed for your fellow citizens the way you do for illegals? What about the countless moms stuck in violent relationships who want a better life for their children? What about the couples living on minimum wage, unable to afford insurance, and stuck in high crime areas? What about the children of drug addicts and alcoholics? How many people ~ legal citizens ~ are well below the poverty limit (but not qualifying for benefits) who work, pay taxes, and live paycheck to paycheck ... and can't ever get ahead (or even tread water most of the time)?

We aren't taking care of our OWN, it's going to get worse once this HC kicks in, and you are worried more about those who have NO RIGHT to even be here let alone benefit from it than those who DO belong and are forced to pay for what they themselves can't afford. I don't understand, and I never will.

  • You have to show proof you have health insurance... But you don't have to show proof you are in this country legally... Anyone who argues the point made by this joke, is about as idiotic as the Current Administration of the US.

  • UpSheRises ~ That statement is not at all truthful. No one advocates just sending people to another country ~ they want illegals sent back to their own countries and come here the right way, not illegally.

Millions of illegals have chosen to live here without bothering to become a citizen, AND they get away with things that no citizen can as well as skipping the normal expenses such as taxes and insurance. Most pay NOTHING for healthcare. Those with kids in school pay nothing.

It's only citizens that get to pay for all of this ~ and we get stuck paying our share PLUS what the illegals cost. Some of us are sick of footing the bill.

I think that the ones who don't mind this/advocate for illegals should pay for all of that rather than spreading the bill out among all of the citizens.

  • No UP..you may NOT be getting ins because you cant AFFORD $800 a MONTH for Family ins if you still wanted to FEED your children and HOUSE your children. And that SMALL $5,000 fine will be ALOT to us!! Sort of damned either way...SURE would been nice if SOMEONE had addressed the rising COST of health care and not just SHOVED the TOO HIGH PRICED stuff down our throats!!
