Another Gluing question.....

Ok, I'm trying to glue fishing line to a wood frame. I cannot for the life of me find my hot glue gun, and right now all I have is Elmer's School Glue....Any other suggestions? Or would School glue work?!

  • As long as it dries clear, give it a try. The only thing to keep in mind is how easy it will come off the frame if it doesn't work.

  • Super glue. Krazy Glue brand. Seriously. I know some people think it won't stick to wood but it will.

  • We like gorilla glue but it doesn't dry clear. As for your project try a little bit to see if its acceptable to how you want it to be. Good Luck!

  • I would think it would eventually fall apart. Why not buy Elmers wood glue?

  • I'm think it would be worth a try. You should find yourself a good bottle of crafting glue though to have on hand. A hot glue gun isn't always they way to go. For example, with this project, your hot glue gun may melt the fishing line and then you would have a problem.
