When is it safe to let my son sleep with a pillow?

DS is 19 months old and still sleeps in his crib.

  • my 15 month old and 2 1/2 year old sleep with pillows. old flattened out ones, not new fluffy ones though

  • that's a personal chouce.. but he is old enough now that he would move away from it if he was unable to breathe

  • i started giving my son a pillow at 15 months. an old flattened one though, not a fluffy one.he was in his crib when i started giving it to him.

  • Your choice. If he puts his shoulders and head on it, it's absolutely fine. If it's just his head and neck, you decide if he's ready or not. That's the age some of mine wanted pillows, I gave it to them. Good luck!!
