  • My daughter is 7 weeks and she drinks about 3 oz when she has a bottle and she eats every 3 hours - so it sounds about right. But I've never bottle fed regularly.

  • I'd fill the bottle with 6oz and see if she wants it...is she chunking out? She should be moving into her 3 month old body soon~does she still look like a 2 month old?

  • 2.5 OZ TIMES HER BODY WEIGHT.. that's what she should be drinking in 24 hours... my little one is almost 6 weeks and she is at 3.75 oz.. lol but I am going to have to up it to 4 here very soon... she is 9lbs

  • I didn't bottle-feed, but I've heard they should have at least 1 ounce an hour. I know when my son hit that age he was nursing a ton more and really chunked up! It went well cause the chunk up happened right before his growth spurts in length so he always evened out. If she seems hungry I would add an ounce and see how it goes. There is no set amount that each baby should have. At 3 months my son was over 17 pounds, but my friend's baby was barely 10 pounds. I know they say their tummy is only as big as their fist, but I'm pretty sure at that age my son would nurse at least 8 ounces sometimes. He was an oinker as a baby though... and 99th percentile for height and weight. If all else fails, asking your pediatrician is a good idea. I know mine had call in hours in the morning.

  • I bottle fed my daughter... What I would do if she still seams hungry is add about 1 more ounce to the bottle and see how she feels....if she still seems hungry after that I would ask your pediatrician what's best!

  • She should be eating 6oz every 4 hours. I have 3 boys, they started eating 6-8oz by this point. Good Luck

  • Give her mor .. Either she drinks it or she doesn't. Then you'll know.
And Alice T. EVERY child is different. You can't say what her baby should be drinking based on your boys.
