  • four. I had been trying to teach him since he was three, at least his name & he refused.. one day we are at Denny's & he goes look mommy. I look down & he had written his own first name. It wasn't pretty, but It was a start. =) Good luck to you

  • Both my girls learned when they were about 4. They were trying to write their names when they were 3 but didn't get it totally until 4.

  • My son was 3 years when he perfected it. Thanks to preschool and us working with him at home. He can also spell his name for you as well.

  • DD just turned 4 and she will write KAIIR or KIRI. Her name is KAIRI. She's trying. :) :)
