  • Take a warm bubble bath and just try to relax. Get away from the computer and watch something relaxing. Also, try to eliminated caffeine from your system.  Sleep good zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • In general, stay away from caffeine, including chocolate. But this won't help you right now. I take a painkiller if I have trouble sleeping, but you have already done this. I can toss out a relaxation technique that may work for you. It makes you eliminate distractions, such as worries, and it lets your body relax. Lie in bed comfortably, and the whole time you are doing the technique, breath slowly and normally, Imagine that you are breathing out stress and relaxing more with each exhale. Start at your toes and relax your toes, breathe, relax. Relax the soles of your feet, breathe, are your toes still relaxed? Relax your feet, your heels, are the feet relaxed. Work your way up your body, little by little, making sure that what you have already relaxed stays that way. It should take at least 20 minutes to do all. If you find your mind wandering, bring it back. Concentrate on breathing and relaxing.

  • Try warm milk or apples. That may soothe your system. Also, don't exercise or drink caffine of any sort at least 4 hours before bed.
