  • google it. that's where i got the games when i threw a party for my friend. as for prizes, hit the dollar store, you can get candles, bath soaps, whatever, and even wal-mart has the really nice candles that are only $1, the small ones, that kind of look like samples. or if you do it the traditional way, you get a few baby toys from the dollar store. (btw, in case you don't know the traditional way, the person that wins the prize gives it to the mother to be...which is why the prizes are baby toys...)

  • So, since it's a bridal shower, and not a baby shower I wouldn't suggest making the prizes as baby toys.
I did party planning for about 10 years, here are some of the games that I suggested when I did brial showers.
    1. You get a whole bunch of items (generally associated with "romance", KY Jelly, Condoms, Massage oil, candles, bath oils, ) put them on a tray, you have a cover on them, you allow everyone to look at the tray for 1 minute. Then you cover the tray back up, they all have a pen and paper BEFORE you show the items. After you cover the items they all have 1 minute to write down as many items on the tray as they can. Whoever has the most items CORRECT gets the prize, (which is given to the bride afterward GENERALLY). The prize is the basket with all the items that were on the makes for a great first night of romance!

  • 2. Who knows the bride and groom the best. Since at most bridal showers it's a combination of both his family and hers you ask the bride and groom personal questions like where they went to school, what teams if any they played on, what their most treasured time was, where their favorite place is. Who their best friend is other than of coarse soon to be spouse. These are all things that a "best friend should know" The prize can be something like a candle or a bag of potpouri.

  • We did this at my Aunt's...not anything spectacular, but it took up time:) Take the brides and grooms names (first and middle) and have ppl write as many words as they can with the letters. Sounds corny, but it was kinda fun;) Good Luck!

  • More idea for game can also put things like ... insence, bubble bath, sex toys (like handcuffs, body chocolate, orgasim creams, things that aren't too personal, but still fun!), the tray is about making the ULTIMATE romantic evening!
    3. If you are drinkers, there is the safety pin/marble game...(there are several variations on this) but you make shots, you put a safety pin in the bottom of the shots (they are usually multi colored) the goal is to see who can collect all the different safety pin/marbles whatever you choose to use, put of coarse you have to drink the drink because you can't use your hands. The reason you use safety pins is because then you use the pins to pin $$ on the bride during either the reception of her wedding or later in the evening for yet another game!

  • 4. The $$$ maker game.....this is a fun game, and it allows for the bride to come into the marriage with a "dowry"!!! After the safety pins are collected (or given out) the bride gets in the middle of the circle, dances around (music should be playing, and it is more "tradional" to do this while they are in their wedding gown at the reception), but it can be played at the brial shower as well, while she is dancing people can come up and pin $$ on her.

  • 6. The Advise Game...everyone (as they are entering) receives 2 pieces of paper, they write down some marital advise what they have learned from being married on 1 piece, and on the other piece there is sex advise. You put all of them into a basket, they are read out loud by the host, and the bride either tries to guess whoes advice, or picks her favorite real winners here, just fun and a time passer.

  • 7. Guess what's in the brides purse. Now this game works like this: The bride empties out everything that is in her purse onto the table. Each of the guests then look through their own purse and they get points for each common item that they have with the bride. The person with the most points wins.

  • I hope this helps some....I can give you lots of ideas, those where just the first few. Budgets are GREAT, if you know what you have to spend then make sure that you are spending it on the prizes, there are a lot of games out there that cost nothing to the ones that I mentioned before.

    Have fun!!!
