  • drink water ( i know who wants to drink when you have to pee every 5 min right? ) to help you feel fuller longer & just make sure when you do eat.. those calories count -- lots of veggies, fruits, whole grains -- also snack! alot! being pregnant your constantly hungry, its gonna happen! so prepare with lots of good stuff around you. pre made salads/ fruit salads.. so if you eat before starving, you never want to dive into those cookies or down a whole bag of chips..
    And dont forget light exercises!

Good luck! I gained alot of weight with #1.. and refuse to get preggo until i can lose the weight :( so hopefully next time i will be smarter.. first time around I was lazy, tired & ate all the wrong stuff
