  • Well, if she looks white that would be her "race" but ethnicly she'd be mexican.
I'm a white mexican and my friends just say I'm "wexican", works for me!

  • My husband is Mexican/Irish while I am German/Irish, but he always checks Hispanic on forms. For the kids however, I have always checked Caucasian. I think if he were full blooded Mexican I would claim the children as Mexican, but they are only 1/4. I would consider the baby bi-racial, but whatever the baby is considers himself as he gets older is what he is IMO

  • LOL crissym45 I SWEAR I ALMOST PEED MYSELF!!! That has to be the funniest thing i've read in a long time!!! To the OP the baby will be bi-racial. No need to label he/she with anything until school time rolls around.

  • lol flutterfae...if that were tue, Obama would be considered white. His father was black. Just like Obama the baby is not one race or the other...he is a mixed race...bi-racial. Obama isn't black. Obama is bi-racial. Your grandchild isn't white or hispanic. Your grandchild is bi-racial.
