taking advil/tylenol during period

does taking advil or tylenol during your period make it any longer or heavier..lighter even? i forget? Someone told me once that it does and i forgot so which is it?

  • i heard that tylenol might cause a heavier/longe flow.

  • Ibuprofen is better for periods. That's what my Dr. recommended.

  • Don't take any Asprin based medications, because Apsrin is a blood thinner. That's why it's recommended for good heart health with some patients. The reason it shouldn't be taken for a period is due to it thinning out your blood. Causing it to be heavier and runnier (word?).
