Anyone taking meds for hypothyroidism?

If you have hypothyroidism and do not have insurance, what are you paying for the meds. I just got a preliminary diagnosis and am wanting to know how much my medication will cost. Thanks

  • You can get the generic of synthroid at WalMart for $4.00 or $10.00 for a 90 day supply. Just be sure they use the same generic everytime you re-fill because they are not created equally. once you find one that works though you are set.

  • Yes, I'm on Levothyroxine and would be paying $22 a month for it if it weren't for my insurance.
