1 Bump

My poor angel has a tummy ache!!!

Okay, yesterday my mother took my daughter and I too the dr.'s because she was vomitting and spitting up (and making a face like it was battery acid). Turns out, she's got a stomach bug that's been going around. Long story short, she's cranky as heck, has this ear splitting scream, and I can't figure out what to do!!! Any suggestions would be great, here's all the info:

she's almost 4 months
already got her on pedialyte
she's making plenty of wet diapers
she's got diarreah

THANKS SO MUCH!

  • Oh my..lol.. I didn't read the 4 month part! I'm sorry.. You may want to do some more research but I would think soup broth would be okay.. if she can keep it down.

  • can i give a 4 month old soup and tums??? I'm just now trying the cereal and applesauce, and I never know what's safe because each dr. has their own opinon.

  • I may try that. Pedialyte comes right back up, but at least it goes in long enough to hydrate her. I'm so happy she's sleeping with her Nana right now. Finally gave her some infant tylenol to ease her pain and let her get some sleep.

  • =( Aww.. I hate it when my kids are sick! I hope she gets better soon! And if she has a fever.. they have these head gel patches at walmart. They aren't medicated at all so they won't hurt her.. they will just cool her down!
