Everyone keeps telling me about FREE APPS on the internet for their computer, like Virus Protection and others? Where do I find these and are they safe?

  • And if you would like to have an awesome graphics program, GIMP is like $700 worth of Photoshop for free! Open Source rocks.... I actually have to computers that their operating systems were free.... they run on Linux Mint and Xubuntu. If you don't want to pay for Microsoft Office 2010... just down load OpenOffice. It will even save files in formats that Microsoft Office can read.

  • What kind of APPS are you looking for? and I think it depends on what you use. I have Mozilla Firefox and that has an application tab where I can download a bunch for free.

    They review everything computer related. And one of the free programs I got from there is the Avira Anti-Virus Program. I have it installed on 3 different computers and have not had any problems for a few years now.
