1 Bump

36 weeks and fell outside carrying my 18 month daughter

So after my check up at the doc(which i got a internal exam), i was walking in the house with my daughter and fell on a rock. i caught my fall with my ankle and hand. When i fell I think i peed my pants a little but not sure if it was pee or my water breaking) but now i have slight cramping and a slight bloody discharge. I am wondering if this discomfort is from getting checked at the doc, or if it is early signs of labor. help please.

  • it could be either, you should call and ask. A little blood and cramping can be normal after an internal exam, but can also indicate labor is near. Also at this point in your pregnancy your doc will probably want to check you out after the fall anyway, even without the cramping.

  • Yeah, you should probably go ahead and give your doc a call to be safe.
