When to stop Formula feeding.

My son is 10 months old and at 10 and half months I was thinking about starting to introduce vitamin d milk to him mixed with his formula. over the 6 week period mixing more overtime. does this sound like a good idea or should I start later?

  • I would ask his pediatrician. Some pediatricians reccomend introduing cow's milk before 1 year and other prefer to wait.

  • I started mixing and oz of milk in at a time, 1 oz each week....started at 11 months with my oldest. He was completely off it at 13 months then. I will wait with my baby who is almost 11 months now, just because I have such a stock of formula LOL

  • my son is ten months too. i feed him formula and table food. i am going to wait ti he's one to take him off the bottle. i've always been told at one year of age is a good time to let them start drinking regular milk.
