  • OK, I'm not sure exactly what the bible says about this but IMO, God is a loving God and would want His children to be happy. he doesn't condemn us our mistakes, only asks that we learn from them. I don't know how that answers your question but I cannot believe that God would want you to live in a marriage where you weren't happy and living in happiness.

  • depends on how the first marriage ended

  • It depends on the particular sect of Christianity they are practicing. In some churches if they do not ANNUL the marriage, then yes, they are committing adultery by remarrying even with a legal divorce because a divorce is a legal proceeding, not a church proceeding.

  • It depends if there was scriptural grounds for divorce. If there was not correct grounds then yes it is adultery.

  • I had tis same questions before I had my divorce I lived with an unfaithful man for 12 years because I felt diivorce was wrong. I finally decided I was not doing right by my children or myself and left my husband. It was a big moral issue for me and I still wonder today if I have condemed myself and my new husband. But I believe God forgives my sins and I trust in his love and promises.

  • This is a tough question. God hates divorce, but also is forgiving. I have personally grown more as an individual, in my relationship with God and in my marriage by working (praying) through our troubles, instead of getting a divorce.

  • A sin is a sin. God forgives.

  • there are certain situations which the bible does decree divorce ok. Mostly God would want us to stay in first marriage but again sometimes divorce is unavoidable.
