Red potatos in pot roast...crock pot

going to do this in the morning before I go to I need to peel them?

  • No, you don't need to. You can if you want to but by the time they cook all day and are nice and soft, they taste good with the peel still on them.

  • Nope. Just wash them good and take off any blemishes you are not comfortable with on the potatoes. I love red potatoes, they have a better taste than white potatoes.

  • I only peel potatoes if the skin has blemishes and then just the blemsihed portion.

  • I don't. I just quarter them and toss them in. They have a really thin, soft peel and they cook up well in the slower cooker. Yummy.
