ok so I've been really, really frustrating over my boyfriend staining our bed sheets with his body sweat. All of our blankets and sheets have a sweat stain only on his side and I hate it! I want to buy nice sheets and blankets for our bed but he will just ruin them. Does anyone know of any special sheets that could prevent sweat stains? Is he the only one with this problem?

  • Hmm. Why is he sweating so much? Maybe try havinga fan on in the room and less blankets and let him sleep in just undies. Dh sweats easily but never in bed. I don't want to scare you but night sweating can sometimes be due to a thyroid or heart problem or cancer.

  • we always sleep with our windows open but he just uses more blankets! I don't understand how he is so cold when I could clearly feel him sweating!

  • Maybe set the thermostat to a lower temperature... and put a fan on him. Also make sure he's not covered too much and maybe he should wear less clothing to bed.

  • Sounds like you need to sleep with the AC on or have him sleep somewhere else.

  • Wash the sheets more often - they only stain because it sits long enough - if you wash them more they won't have a chance to stain. Use a different soap too to wash them - not all detergents can handle that kind of stuff.
