All females in my family are named Mary-Middle name. Need help with second part!

The whole thing started 6 generations ago. My great-great.....grandmother's name was Mary and she was such an amazing person- she was really broke when she was first married, then she tried her best and made a lot of money and gave everything to charity. When her 2 sons turned 18 she went to Africa and stayed there for 21 years helping with orphans and sick kids.
She was sent back to the US because she got sick and her first drand daughter was born the day she died. She was born at only 5 months but she was a really helthy baby.

Anyway, that's how the whole thing started and I'm happy naming my girls after her.

So I am Mary-Ann and my nieces are Mary-Ellen, Mary-Bella and Mary-Lynn.

My first daughter is Mary-Leigh.

What should I name my second daughter?

I was thinking Mary-Kate, Mary-Jo, Mary-Don, Mary-Shane... I don't know!!

  • I used to work with a sweet Catholic lady - she was Mary Joanne and everyone called her Jodi. Her sisters, aunts, everyone was Mary ________ because of their Catholic roots. I'm guessing you'll be calling your baby by the second name, not Mary - anything will sound okay, so just pick a favorite name and go with it!

what about just after your ggggrandmothers full name? what was her middle name or maybe use her last name as her middle name so it be
mary (last name) (your last name) that would be really naming her after her : )
