So Long Summer -- Do you let your kid(s) jump in leaf piles when raking?

  • Well I thought that was what leaf piles were for lol! No sense letting a perfectly good pile of leaves go to waste..that would be a tragic!

  • I did when we had trees that gave up the leaves. But we don't here. Except, then after they did, we brought in fleas. Stray cats liked to play in the yard, or something. But we ended up with a shit ton of fleas inside. It was a pain in the ass getting rid of them :( The kids did have a blast with the leaves though.

  • Nope - FIL built himself a nifty leaf-picker-upper for behind his mower and it takes him all of 10 minutes to "rake" our whole lawn ;o).
