from ebay or craigslist? if something goes wrong what can you do?

  • If something goes wrong on EBay you can usually return it depending on the terms of the seller. Craigslist is a bit different, there isn't too much you can do considering it's the individual selling it. I wouldn't buy one from either I would buy one from Amazon because they are new, usually IPODs are registered to the buyer.

  • Probably only Ebay...and I wouldn't even do that unless I had no other option. I think ebay has a policy to refund you if the item doesn't work or what not. I would NEVER EVER EVER buy off craigslist. I've had so many friends that have gotten screwed and there was nothing they could do about it.

  • Nope. You have no idea how they were handled. You can get a refurbished iPod off the Apple website, and they usually gave free shipping as well. We've bought two refurbs from them, they looked like new, had a year warranty, and we didn't have any problems at all. They were a LOT less expensive than new.
