Should I feel my baby moving at 16 weeks?

I am in my 16th week and I don't feel the baby move. I used to feel some flutters but I haven't felt any lately. I've been really sick with a sinus/allergy cold and my baby has had croup and then whooping cough, so I've seriuosly neglected my health just to feel sane.
How much should I feel the baby move?

  • I started feeling my baby move around 15 or 16 weeks, but I didn't start feeling her move regularly until about 20 weeks. It's different for everyone, but like Raeann said, there will be periods you won't feel the baby move and by around 26 weeks, you should feel movement regularly.

  • Everybody feels their baby move at a different time. I felt my son move at almost 4 months along. I felt my daughter move at 3 months along.
