Who ever said you can change someone?

I NEVER DID. I will also say you can't teach a old dog new tricks.

They have to want to change, but you can't do it for them.

I know you can never change someone, but I can change myself!!! That is exactly what I am doing, hopefully the people who care will follow and if not.

Then I shall move on, either way I am ready for the challenge...

  • Yes, well, I read the other thread. You asked. People told you what they thought. It appears to me that they did read thoroughly.
And you got some very good feedback.
I'd have added an answer as well, but it was already closed.
    good luck.

  • what alice said
except - remove the "good luck" that she offered you, I only send good wishes to those who I believe deserve them

sad how some people will attempt to seek validation by asking "do you think I'm crazy" and then, even when told "no, not crazy" will get all bent out of shape when they aren't hearing what they want to hear

what WOULD the benefit be to just telling you what you want to hear? I mean, you can already hear your own voice, right? So if someone disagrees with you, you get all upset and vote them down? Even though they took the time to answer your question? Sounds really immature to me.

I'd rather people answer me honestly, even when they disagree with me.
Which is why I didn't bother answering the first post.
Because this one wasn't looking for an honest answer, just someone to say "of course it's all going to work!!"
