Jogging in place. Couple of questions.

I'm doing wii fit. I do the 10 or 20 minute free run every day. Obviously it's jogging in place so I want to know if it's as effective as jogging down the street. Also, what is the proper way to jog in place? Swing your arms, yes, but do you jog on the balls of your feet, whole foot. Thanks.

  • That's actually a REALLY good question! I would think running down the road might be more productive as far as muscle building... but in calories I'm honestly not sure. I am going to have to go look now! lol

    Wii Fit Free Run: 10 minutes - 61 calories
    Running: 12 min/mile (jogging, slow pace) ~ 10 minutes - 130 calories
