  • No. Nothing is so important that it can't wait until I pull over. Anyone who knows me knows that if I don't return a msg immediately, it's because I am busy (driving, eating diner or at an event with the family, etc).

  • Only if it's a yes or no question. Generally I don't even look at my phone while I'm driving. I have four kids in the car with me usually. I'm not willing to risk their lives in order to answer someone's question. It can always wait until I get where I'm going!

  • nope. they say that it impairs your reaction time more than if you were legally drunk. i don't want to take that chance. once in a blue moon i will text while i am stopped at a red light or in some traffic that is standing still. never when i'm moving though.

  • No way! Its very dangerous. Your more likely to get into an accident while texting than talking on the phone.

  • Hell NO! That is frickin dangerous.

  • No...neither does my hubby. however, he DOES use the maps app on his blackberry while driving which annoys me to no end, especially when i'm right there in the car. HELLO. just give the phone to me and have me look up the address, duhhh.

  • yes but only at red lights

Answer by pinkdena at 7:09 PM on Sep. 3, 2010

  • No, and as a matter of fact, I don't TALK on my phone while driving either. I live in a highly populated area where there's pretty much always heavy traffic and am just not comfortable with the distraction.
Besides, they just outlawed texting while driving in my state, so folks caught doing so will be getting tickets. Yay!
