having money trouble HA does this surprise you?

19 weeks now. I put apps in. i have 2 that sound promising. I am kind of just playing the waiting game. that doesnt help me pay the bills... my savings is drying up and I am panicking alittle. I have done the public assistance thing before - for school - I am in school full time now. I wonder if i can get on what is it called? tanf? for help this month while everyone takes their time deciding on whether to hire me or not.. Ahh just Ahhh

I do not want to be on the program for more the a month. is that possible to tell them that i want to sign up then to get help for one single month then taken off..?

  • You can ask them. The worst they can say is no.

  • Just go sign up. when you get back on your feet. then just tell them you do not need their sevices anymore. They will be more then happy to stop the assistance.
