  • Not at all. We have had guests sleep on an air mattress. I think it is nicer than having people sleep on the couch.

  • I would prefer an air mattress to the couch personally!

  • If it is a nice air mattress I would rather sleep on that.

  • No, it would be tacky to ask them to sleep on the floor... I love an air mattress!

  • Not in the least. I don't expect any one to buy a bed just for me when I'm visiting. I actually think it's rude to *expect* an air mattress... my family puts us on the floor lol.

  • Not at all. They are guests in YOUR home and they should sleep where you indicate they should.

  • I prefer an air mattress to a couch but not for two years like hubby and i did for a while. That sucks after a while. Yeah we were dirt poor then.

  • thumbs up to the air mattress! I have not slept on a comfortable couch.

I agree with that tacky would be sleeping on the floor lol

  • All we have is an air mattress, lol. That's what me and hubby sleep on for now (was better than the twin mattress we had before, at least it's a queen size).
I don't expect anything even that fancy when I visit people. As long as they have floor space for us then I'm happy.

  • Not at all. Most people don't have a guest room set up. If you are uncomfortable with it, just give the wife a call. Just tell her, "I hope you don't mind sleeping on an air mattress." That way they know what to expect.
