When can babys have honey

I forgot is it one or two? thanks

  • At one just b/c of allergic reaction's but my parent's say that in there country they use to give honey to them whenever.

  • in childcare they do not allow children under 1 year to have any foods with honey in them once they turn to and/or get to there next group level they start letting them have foods with honey in it

  • honey and yogurt are no's before 1 because they have the live cultures in them... and they are not good for babies.

  • Not before they are one year old. in some children it can be fatal if they take it under one year.

  • After the first birthday is fine.
    Honey is a raw product - it's not cooked or purified in any way. There is a small risk of getting botulism, which is one of the worst forms of food poisioning. After a year, our immune systems are stronger and can handle a little bit of the bug much more easily.
