what can i do to overcome SEVERE fatigue during my fifth month of pregnancy? HELP!!!

  • ask your dr. about maybe taking more iron intake.....that might help.

  • Get enough rest, make sure you are getting enough nutrients (especially iron), and hang in there. It won't last forever!

  • You just gotta rest!! It will pass and that baby obviously needs the energy to grow. This is good practice for a newborn also ;)

  • I would say ask your doctor as these women have told you, but learn to relax and take some naps.

  • awww thank u ladies!!! my prenatal is concept DHA...i can ask my dr about more iron as well. i have been resting alot lately, sleeping all the time and no matter what time i get up or go to bed, i am walking into walls!!

  • I would take naps when you can. Also try eating snacks here and there.

  • Eat foods rich in protein, "B' vitamen's , and iron ...foods like
    spinach
    broccoli
    fresh fruits
    eggs
    peanut butter or any nuts
    beef...not fast food beef but good,whole, red meats from a butcher or supermarket
    fish
    really anything green from a garden and anything from the cow, chicken/egg will give you energy plus you want to add a whole grain food in the morning for sustained energy throughout the day...so like an egg with a bowl of oatmeal or cereal and juice
